South Suffolk Labour candidate Emma Bishton has given her backing to the many social enterprises and voluntary organisations that help those in need across the constituency. She’s been visiting organisations all over South Suffolk in order to understand the challenges they face after 14 years of Tory and Lib Dem austerity.
GoStart is one of the charity projects she’s visited. It provides low-cost transport for older and mobility-impaired people in Sudbury and nearby villages. Emma was full of praise for such services and for the volunteers like Arthur Humphries, pictured, who ensure they continue to provide vital services.
