The people already involved in the South Suffolk Constituency Labour Party (CLP) are a small friendly group of all ages and from all walks of life. Together we provide support for our candidates and keep the Labour flag flying in as many ways as we can. Anybody who wants to help out in any way is always welcome.

Elections

At election times for County Council, District Council, Town and Parish Council, Police and Crime Commissioner and – of course – the General Election there are lots of jobs that need doing – big and small. All the way from delivering a few leaflets or putting up a board in your garden to becoming an election agent for a candidate.

Branches

Some Constituency Labour Paries have branches within the CLP to enable members in a particular part of the constituency to get together and discuss local concerns.

There is one active Branch in the constituency: Sudbury and Great Cornard. If you live in or near the area and want to join please contact kevin.graham@greatcornardpc.co.uk

Members in other parts of the CLP, such as Hadleigh or Stour Valley and Pinewood, do not currently meet in branches, but we will pursue this in future if there is demand. If, meanwhile, you’d like to meet other Labour members from your part of the constituency, please come along to an All Members Meeting. For more information, email secretary@southsuffolklabour.org.uk

Donate

The local party has to be very careful what it spends because funds are always limited. If you want to help us pay for campaigning expenses such as literature or postage, please consider making a donation. This money goes directly to our local funds. Click on the link: Donate
